This is related to the reign of a former Chief Minister. A film director was involved in creating political ads for the then ruling party during the general elections of 2019.
In return, the director received a 2-acre prime land in Amaravathi as a gift, which was also officially registered.
With expectations that the same party would regain power and real estate values would soar in the region, the director accepted the gift with high hopes. However, things took an unexpected turn.
Now, the same director is working on creating ads for the same political party, but this time he is doing it for free as the party is not currently in power.
In case the party comes back into power, we will have to see how many more acres of land might be gifted to him.
According to sources, the director is investing his time in this endeavor, assuming that he will benefit in the best way possible if the party returns to power.
