Four Blacksheep MLAs Give Bitter Defeat To Jagan

As expected, the four black sheep MLAs from the ruling YSR Congress have given a bitter defeat to Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party.

There have been reports of at least four MLAs from the YSR Congress likely to vote for the opposition TDP.

While rebel MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy was open, the YSR Congress leadership failed to smell the other three black sheep.

The leadership did not make any attempt to hold talks to those dissident MLAs, though the party knew them.

The YSR Congress leadership had held a dinner meet with the party MLAs on Wednesday and held three rounds of mock voting.

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is also said to have held face to face interaction with some of the MLAs and told them on how to cast their vote.

Meanwhile, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was said to be in constant touch with those dissident MLAs.

Chandrababu Naidu’s decision to field a candidate in the eleventh hour worked well and brought him success.
