In the past, the Jagan government did not follow this approach. The TTD Chairman, EO, and JEO positions were all given to the same community—the Reddys. This caused dissatisfaction among other communities.
This is the difference between Jagan and Chandrababu. Chandrababu doesn’t make careless decisions, while Jagan tends to make hasty ones, leading to his political troubles.
By bringing in Venkayya Chowdary, Chandrababu’s family will gain complete control over TTD.
Local TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena leaders on the hills won’t have the chance to rebel.
The intention behind bringing in Venkayya Chowdary is said to be to curb the overreach of these local leaders, who have been acting as if they own the Tirupati constituency.
There have been complaints to Chandrababu about local coalition leaders engaging in unethical activities in various business dealings on the hills. Venkayya Chowdary is expected to put an end to these soon.
He will perform his duties under the direct supervision of Chandrababu’s family.
