Popular actor turned real estate baron turned politician Murali Mohan declared that he is retiring from politics.
That doesn't mean he decided to relax keeping his age into consideration. He said that he will focus only on movies breaking the hibernation of 10 years.
In fact, Murali Mohan did more business when he was in TDP. His Jayabheri venture flourished to the maximum right from procuring of the land, during Chandrababu's regime. We can see his good number of ventures surrounding Hitech city. He tried the same in Amaravathi but failed.
Murali Mohan was an MP from TDP for quite a long time. Now he is saying that he had handed over his businesses to his brother and children.
In a way this is right. If he continues to be in TDP he will be forced to give some statements by CBN. If they turn political, his real estate business will be in trouble. So, saying that he is no way connected to politics seems to be safe. Otherwise, there seems to be no other reason for him to give this statement.
An insider says, "By declaring that he retired from politics, he may be implying that TDP will never come back to power again. Because two and half years is not too far away to see the next general elections. Murali Mohan would have continued".
