The family drama involving YSR Congress party legislative council member Duvvada Srinivas has taken several twists and turns, resembling a typical Telugu television serial with its intricate plot involving a husband, wife, and his girlfriend. This saga continues to provide sensational entertainment through the media.
In the latest development, Duvvada Srinivas has approached the state high court, seeking a directive for the police to act on his complaint against his wife, Duvvada Vani.
Vani, along with their daughter Haindavi, allegedly attempted to harm Srinivas and unlawfully entered his house.
Srinivas claimed that although the police registered a case against Vani and Haindavi, they have not proceeded with any further action, such as arresting or prosecuting them. He is also calling for action against the police for their inaction.
The police counsel stated that notices had been issued to Vani and Haindavi for questioning and that the investigation is ongoing. Police added that Vani had also filed a counter-complaint against Srinivas, necessitating more time to provide comprehensive details.
The high court, after reviewing arguments from both sides, has requested the police to submit a counter-affidavit detailing the progress of the investigation.
In the meantime, Vani has claimed that both she and her husband are threatened by Madhuri, with whom Srinivas is allegedly having an affair. Conversely, Madhuri has accused Vani of threatening both herself and Srinivas.
Vani has expressed a desire to live with Srinivas in the newly-built house in Tekkali. However, Srinivas has stated that he will not allow her into the house and plans to live there with Madhuri.
“How can I continue my life with Vani, who has caused so much turmoil and brought me public disgrace? Let the court decide what should be done,” Srinivas declared.
