Dharmana Prasada Rao, the senior YCP leader from the Srikakulam region, has reportedly distanced himself from his party, according to close associates.
Despite his brother holding the role of YCP District President, Prasada Rao has shown little interest in participating in party activities and has maintained a noticeable silence. However, many speculate that there may be a strategic reason behind this silence.
It appears that Prasada Rao is keen on fielding his son, Dharmana Ram Manohar Naidu, for the Srikakulam Assembly seat in the upcoming elections.
Rumor has it that he may join TDP along with his son. However, sources suggest that this move may face challenges, as the powerful Kinjarapu family holds significant influence over TDP in the Srikakulam region.
With this in mind, Dharmana Prasada Rao is also considering the possibility of joining Jana Sena if TDP is not an option. Notably, he intends to send only his son, Ram Manohar Naidu, to Jana Sena.
If all goes well, we may see Dharmana Ram Manohar Naidu representing Jana Sena in the upcoming elections.
