Defeated YCP MLAs find easy entry into Jana Sena!

Defeated YCP MLAs find easy entry into Jana Sena!

It looks like Jana Sena Party headed by power star and Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan has become the easy place for rehabilitation of defeated MLAs of the YSR Congress party.

With the Telugu Desam Party headed by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu being selective in admitting the leaders from YSRCP, because most of them were his bitter critics, the Jana Sena Party which is facing the dearth of good leaders has become an ideal place for defection.

On Saturday, the Jana Sena Party issued a statement, confirming that former minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy and former government whip Samineni Udayabhanu would join the party in the presence of Pawan Kalyan at the party office in Mangalagiri on September 26.

Along with them, their followers including several corporators and councillors belonging to the YSRCP would also defect into the Jana Sena Party.

Meanwhile, another former YSRCP MLA Kilari Rosaiah, who had quit the party recently, indicated that he also would be joining the Jana Sena Party on Sunday, along with the other two senior former MLAs.

Rosaiah, son-in-law of former minister and YSRCP leader Ummareddy Venkateshwarlu, represented Ponnuru assembly constituency in the past.

In the last elections, he was forced to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Guntur and lost the election to TDP’s Pemmasani Chandrasekhar with a huge margin.

A few weeks later, he resigned from the YSRCP and made an attempt to defect to the TDP, but there was no positive response from Naidu and Lokesh. Finally, he decided to join the Jana Sena Party.

In fact, he was a member of Praja Rajyam Party and was close to Pawan Kalyan.

He contested from Tenali on Praja Rajyam ticket, but lost the elections. So, it is a sort of reunion for Rosaiah.

According to the latest reports, another former MLA of YSR Congress party – Dadisetti Ramalingeshwar Rao alias Dadisetti Raja – from Tuni assembly constituency, has also decided to resign from the party and is making arrangements to join the Jana Sena Party.

Raja, who was also with Praja Rajyam Party in the past, reportedly met megastar Chiranjeevi recently and sought his blessings. He has expressed his desire to find his political future in Jana Sena Party.

“He might meet Pawan Kalyan in a day or two and confirm his berth,” sources said.
