Dadi's Praise Unlikely to Change His Fate

Dadi's Praise Unlikely to Change His Fate

Senior leader and former minister from the united Visakhapatnam district, Dadi Veerabhadra Rao, has been lavishly praising TDP chief and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

He recently hailed Naidu as an "excellent administrator" and said that under his leadership, the state is witnessing significant development. At the same time, he criticized the YSRCP’s five-year rule as disastrous.

However, it’s worth noting that Dadi Veerabhadra Rao was part of the YSRCP during those five years, serving as the party's state general secretary. Many recall that while in the YSRCP, Dadi was equally vocal in praising Jagan Mohan Reddy,

Sources say that Dadi returned to the TDP in 2024 primarily because the YSRCP denied his son a ticket from Anakapalli.

Over the past 12 years, Dadi has switched between TDP and YSRCP multiple times, leading senior party leaders to view him as politically unstable and, thus, keep him at arm’s length.

Currently, the TDP is looking to promote fresh faces and is giving priority to loyalists.

As a result, despite Dadi's glowing praise, there is ongoing speculation within the party about whether Chandrababu Naidu will grant any significant position either to Dadi or his son.
