Criminal cases to be filed against Nimmagadda?

If YSR Congress party has its way, criminal cases would be filed against state election commissioner (SEC) Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar for making wild allegations against the state government headed by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and questioning the ordinance issued by the government.

This was hinted at by YSRC general secretary Parliamentary party leader V Vijay Sai Reddy, in a series of tweets on Saturday.

He said whether it was Ramesh Kumar who had written the letter to Union home secretary or whether it was the fabrication of the Telugu Desam Party leaders, they have to file criminal cases.

Stating that the letter had serious comments against the state government that would damage its reputation, Sai Reddy said Chandrababu Naidu or Ramesh Kumar cannot escape from getting punished.

He alleged that Naidu had conspired with the SEC to get the local body elections postponed because he had sensed the defeat, as the people had refused to succumb to his luring.

“The TDP president realised that his party would be restricted to a single digit in every district, if elections were held without distribution of money and liquor,” the YSRC leader said.

Stating that Naidu would use caste and regional cards for his survival, Sai Reddy said those officials who followed the TDP chief’s orders would have to face suspensions and cases.

“Yet some suicide squad members are still craving to get into the good books of their caste god. Though they may succeed for some time, they would have to bow before the law,” Sai Reddy warned.
