Heritage Foods, whose retail wing includes a chain of 124 Heritage Fresh stores got 3.65% stake worth Rs295 crore in Future Retail. The value of Future Group was Rs. 8083 Cr then. But now Reliance Group has bought Future Group at Rs 24713 Cr. That means we have to calculate 3.65% of 24713 to know CBN's share. That is Rs 907 Cr. So, the profit he made in 4 years is Rs 607 Cr.
CBN now can breathe a sigh of relief as a successful businessman though he failed miserably in politics.
In fact, instead of troubling the poor farmers to fund the Amaravathi movement, he can invest his profit into it, if he is a true fighter for his cause.
