Some candidates assert that they will win based on their personal image rather than their party affiliation. Especially those who contested on behalf of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) alliance are making such statements.
Among those who contested on behalf of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), the image of Jagan, welfare schemes, poll management, and positive voter sentiment are being cited as reasons for their expected success. They believe these factors will win them the election.
On the other hand, some TDP candidates argue that they will win due to their personal charisma, not necessarily because of Chandrababu Naidu's image.
These TDP candidates do not believe that Chandrababu's manifesto or promises would have fetched them votes. Instead, they claim that people will vote for them out of sympathy and trust in them personally. Such candidates are particularly noticeable in Kadapa district from the alliance.
Their confidence is also visible due to the heavy spending they have undertaken.
