Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy flew abroad on Friday night by a special flight for a holiday after a hectic five-month campaign supporting his YSRC candidates.
He will return to Vijayawada on June 1, ahead of the Assembly and Parliament election results scheduled to be declared on June 4.
The Chief Minister is accompanied by his spouse Y.S. Bharathi and daughters Harsha and Varsha.
Their first stop will be London, followed by visits to France and Switzerland.
Jagan Mohan Reddy had been the YSRC's star campaigner during the months-long campaign. Y.S. Bharathi also campaigned in the Pulivendula Assembly constituency, where the Chief Minister contested.
Incidentally, a day before leaving on his foreign tour, Jagan interacted with a team from IPAC, which advised YSRC on its political strategy for the 2024 elections.
