CM Jagan stood for Kapu Welfare - Rathnakar

Leaders of the Kapu community thanked Chief Minister YS Jagan for allocating Rs 4,000 crore towards Kapu Welfare in the annual budget of 2022-23.

AP Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation Chairman Adapa Seshagiri, MLA Jakkampudi Raja, MLC Tota Trimurthulu and AP special Representative for North America Ratnakar Pandugayala felicitated the Chief Minister at the Assembly, today.

Speaking on the occasion, North America Special Representative Pandugayala Ratnakar said that the Chief Minister had allocated more funds towards Kapu welfare, when compared to any other Community.

CM Jagan has once again proved that he will always be four steps ahead when it comes to doing good to the Kapus.

Under YSR Kapu Nestham about 3.27 lakh Kapu women have so far benefitted to the extent of Rs. 980 crore in YS Jagan reigme.

Past TDP govt had spent only Rs. 400 crore for Kapu welfare on an average per year, while in just two years of CM Jagan's rule, Rs.13,000 crores have been spent benefitting 59.63 Lakh Kapus in the form of various schemes.

Rathnakar said that Chief Minister YS Jagan is giving utmost priority to Kapus Politically.

Apart from allocating 5 key cabinet ministerial posts to the Kapus, like Agriculture, Health, municipal Administration Urban Development, Information, Transport and Tourism upon them.

He added that Jagan is the only leader who stands & guards Kapus in every aspect.
