YSRCP chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is adopting a different approach toward Pawan Kalyan. On Friday, Jagan visited the flood-affected areas of Eleru Varada in Pithapuram, where Pawan has a presence.
After his visit, Jagan addressed the media, criticizing Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, but when mentioning Pawan, his remarks were notably sympathetic.
Jagan referred to Chandrababu as a "drama artist" but refrained from making any negative comments about Pawan. This is a shift from his previous criticisms, which included personal remarks about Pawan’s wives during the election campaign.
In an effort to avoid repeating past mistakes, Jagan has decided to stop criticizing Pawan and has instructed his party leaders to do the same.
Jagan also appears to believe that if Pawan Kalyan criticizes him, it is best to ignore it.
Going forward, Jagan's main focus will be on targeting Chandrababu Naidu and politically isolating him.
This strategic shift was evident from Jagan’s comments in Pithapuram, and there is optimism among YCP members that this new approach will benefit the party.
