U turns are synonym to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. He is fondly called as U Turn Babu both by his supporters and critics as well.
This time, he took the U turn on Covid. It was only in January and February this year, he blamed the state government for not holding local body elections.
He accused chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy of running away from holding elections in the guise of Covid 19.
The TDP chief wanted the state government to hold panchayat and other local body elections, despite the state expressing fears of increase in the positive cases.
As feared, the state is witnessing a steep increase in the Covid positive cases these days.
However, now, Naidu wants the state government to postpone the SSC and Intermediate public examinations in the guise of Covid.
If one watched him speaking on Wednesday, it is for sure that they would be shocked to see Naidu speaking totally different from what he spoke in January this year on Covid.
The leader who wanted the state government to hold the local body elections ignoring the Covid 19 in January-February, is now asking the government to postpone the examinations keeping in mind the Covid 19.
Naidu always believes that peoples’ memory is too short and they don’t remember what he spoke last month.
However, thanks to the social media, people are circulating Naidu’s speeches on Covid in January and now in April.
Thus, the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is providing fun and entertainment to the people with his U turns and double talk on the same issue.
