Chandrababu Naidu Expert In Managing Systems

The YSR Congress party appears to be of the firm view that Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu is behind the decision of the Andhra Pradesh high court in taking up suo motu the case of withdrawal of 11 criminal cases filed against chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy by the state police.

Senior YSRC leader and state government’s advisor (Public affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said Naidu was quite an expert in managing the systems and creating troubles for his political rivals by repeatedly filing cases against them.

He alleged that the previous TDP government filed various criminal cases against Jagan as part of its political vendetta.

Without making any direct comment on the judiciary, he said certain forces were conspiring against Jagan Mohan Reddy.

“In fact, the previous TDP government had filed as many as 30 cases against Jagan only after the cash-for-vote scam surfaced in Telangana,” Sajjala said.

He reminded that Naidu also got several pending cases against his party leaders including Atchannaidu, Devineni and Kodela Sivaprasada Rao withdrawn soon after coming to power in 2014.

The YSRC leader wondered how a section of media could get access to the court documents, even before they came up before the judge for hearing.

“The court listing of the cases came in the evening, but certain channels conducted debates on the issue in the afternoon itself,” he pointed out.

Sajjala said as per the Supreme Court directions, the cases against the political leaders have to be closed at the earliest.

“When the cases were closed after due legal procedure, the high court takes it up suo motu,” he regretted.
