You are all using cellphones, but you have forgotten the man who brought them to our country - that's me. Look at Hyderabad, whose hard work is it? If you're working from home for any company across the world, the credit goes to me."
This statement has caused a stir among Telugu NRIs in the USA. Some social media handles have suggested giving CBN the title of 'Father of Telugu NRIs', but it remains to be seen how the Telugu community in the USA feels about this claim.
Moreover, Chandrababu's statement has taken away the credit from Dhirubhai Ambani, who is considered to be a key player in the cellphone revolution in India.
