CBI Seeks Time To File Affidavit In Jagan Case

The CBI court in Hyderabad is flooded with petitions after petitions, mostly involving AP chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and some officials in the disproportionate assets cases.

A petition filed by MP K Raghurama Krishnam Raju seeking cancellation of bail to Jagan is already being heard and is posted for July 26.

Meanwhile, there is another petition filed by Jagan Mohan Reddy requesting the court to drop his name in the Penna Cements case.

There are also petitions from Telangana Minister Sabita Indra Reddy seeking the court to withdraw her name from Penna, Indu Tech Zone cases.

Senior IAS officer Samuel Rajagopal also filed a petition seeking withdrawal of his name from the Jagan Mohan Reddy disproportionate assets cases.

Another senior IAS officer Y Sri Lakshmi filed another petition requesting the court to discharge her name from the cases.

The court is hearing all these cases, while the main case is still pending.

Interestingly, the CBI had delayed filing of its affidavit in all these cases, besides the petition for cancellation of Jagan’s bail.

The CBI had sought time from the court to file written affidavit in all these cases forcing the CBI court to postpone the hearings.

Meanwhile, all eyes are on the court which takes up hearing on the petition seeking cancellation Jagan Mohan Reddy’s bail.
