Bharat Rashtra Samithi, which is fighting a pitched battle with the Congress in Telangana, has blamed it on the grand old party for the defeat of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi assembly elections in the hands of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
“Congrats to Rahul Gandhi for winning the election for BJP, yet again!” posted BRS working president and former minister K T Rama Rao on his social media platform X.
The Congress shot back saying it was because of KTR’s sister and BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha for the loss of AAP and the victory of Modi uncle.
Congress spokesperson Janak Prasad tweeted: “Mr. @KTRBRS, before anything else, congratulate your sister @RaoKavitha for being the biggest helping hand in your Modi uncle's victory. Her contribution to BJP's success is undeniable!”
He further said: “Also, don't forget to congratulate @RahulGandhi ji-his relentless fight ensured that Modi realized he is not God but merely a politician who must bow before the Constitution. More importantly, RG gifted your family the prestigious LoP position in Assembly while handing you a big fat ZERO in Parliament! And where is BRS now? Nowhere! RG's massive blow was so devastating that your party doesn't even have the courage to contest the ongoing MLC elections."
