BJP has already given roadmap, says Veerraju

Bharatiya Janata Party has made it clear to Jana Sena Party led by power star Pawan Kalyan that it has already disclosed the roadmap for facing the next assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.

State BJP president Somu Veerraju told reporters in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday that the roadmap was already given by senior BJP leader and Union home minister Amit Shah during his recent visit to Tirupati two months ago.

“The roadmap is very clear. The BJP would fight the next elections in alliance with the Jana Sena Party and bring the alliance to power. Both the parties should prepare their cadres in this direction,” Veerraju said.

The BJP leader’s statement clearly indicates that there is no place for the TDP in the roadmap for the next elections. But the Jana Sena Party chief hinted that the TDP should be part of the alliance so that there is no division in the anti-incumbency vote.

Veerraju said Amit Shah had made it clear that BJP-Jana Sena Party should jointly work together for the next elections.

“He gave a proper direction and roadmap to the party. We are following the same and as part of that we have started establishing Sakthi centres across the state strengthening the party from village level to the state-level,” he said.

He, however, dropped a hint saying any change in the political equations would be discussed at the national level. He said Pawan Kalyan would discuss all the issues with the BJP’s central leadership, if necessary.
