BJP Demands These Seats In AP!

The political landscape in Andhra Pradesh is undergoing continuous changes, primarily centered around alliances.

Currently, TDP and Jana Sena are already in an alliance. Despite Jana Sena's alignment with BJP, there is uncertainty regarding its participation in the elections. Pawan Kalyan, however, is advocating for BJP to form an alliance with TDP and Jana Sena.

Recent discussions suggest the possibility of BJP forming an alliance with TDP and Jana Sena. Against this backdrop, there is a campaign speculating that BJP is seeking 10 to 12 assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh.

BJP leaders assert that they are requesting for the following assembly constituencies in the state.

Proddutur (former minister Adinarayana Reddy), Visakha North (Vishnukumar Raju), Allagadda (Bhuma Kishore Reddy), Dharmavaram (Varadapuram Suri), Rajahmundry (Somu Veerraju), Nellore Rural (Suresh Reddy), and one each in Guntur and Prakasam districts. Additionally, one or two seats may be contested in Araku or Paderu. It is reported that BJP has suggested to TDP to contest in these constituencies.

Leaders from BJP indicate that a decision on the alliance with TDP may be reached in the first week of January. Notably, pro-TDP BJP leaders express excitement, stating that the alliance has been finalized, awaiting an official announcement.

There are rumors that Chandrababu Naidu is actively involved in preparing a joint manifesto and selecting candidates in anticipation of the alliance with BJP being confirmed.
