YSR Congress party general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy has been in a commanding position in the party and has a lot of reputation at the national level.
He has the stature of even securing the appointment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi within a day and can barge into any official chamber by virtue of his position. He also enjoyed top positions in parliamentary committees.
But unfortunately, Sai Reddy, who has been very active on the social media, is unfortunately doesn’t maintain the same stature while posting comments on Twitter.
The kind of language he uses on the social media looks very cheap, compared to his position and projects him as an ordinary party worker.
It is said Sai Reddy doesn’t make comments on his own on the social media and he has a team working for him. But since the posts appear on his official Twitter handle, they are treated as his personal comments.
Though the YSRC senior leader used to use very pungent comments against TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh using sarcastic language in the past, he stopped it for some time. But now, he is back with his abusive language on the social media.
On Saturday, Sai Reddy shot back at Tollywood actor-producer Bandla Ganesh with choicest epithets, in reaction to the latter’s foul language on the social media.
The YSRC leader reacted in the same language, which Bandla Ganesh had used in his tweets against Sai Reddy.
Sai Reddy accused Bandla Ganesh of being a pimp for his bosses, supplying nuts and leaves and arranging beds.
“Do you think it is so easy to bark at and bite others? You are barking like a mad street dog, at the instance of somebody else. You will get tired of barking, but you cannot reverse the people’s verdict,” he commented.
Sai Reddy also reminded of the alleged shady past of Bandla Ganesh, who had faced the bashing from Bollywood financier Sachin Joshi.
“Ram Charan, NTR and Puri had showed mercy towards you despite being cheated, but not everybody is so generous,” he said.
Reacting to Bandla Ganesh’s comment that Sai Reddy was trying to backstab chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the YSRC MP said it was Bandla Ganesh’s master N Chandrababu Naidu who had patented backstabbing art and it would remain a record on his name for another 100 years.
“How can you forget this simple logic?” he asked.
Stating that every dog wants to become a lion, Sai Reddy said a barking dog like Bandla would feel as if it was roaring.
“Unfortunately, brokers, pimps, cheats and pickpockets like Bandla Ganesh think they would become big by attacking people in high positions. Everybody, including a light boy, knows how many times he was roughed up and how many feet he has touched,” Sai Reddy criticised.
Needless to say, using of such an ugly language against a small fry like Bandla Ganesh is definitely unbecoming of a leader like Sai Reddy.
If Bandla Ganesh replies in a more vulgar language, it will only be disgrace to the YSRC MP. Why throw a stone in a drainage pit?
