Babu is megalomaniac, schizophrenic: YSRCP

The ruling YSR Congress party on Monday shot back at Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu for writing letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of India Draupadi Murmu, accusing chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy of turning into a psycho and destroying the state.

YSRCP general secretary and advisor to the government Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said the TDP president was suffering from “Megalomania” and had become “schizophrenic.”

“Naidu thinks only he should rule the state and power was his birth right. He has become arrogant as he feels nobody is more capable than him. These are the characteristics of a megalomanic,” he said.

But since Naidu had lost power and is unlikely to come to power again in his life time, he has turned into a schizophrenic.

“The characteristics of this kind of personality are clearly visible in him,” Sajjala said.

The YSRCP leader alleged that Naidu had conspired to create a law-and-order situation at Angallu and Punganuru by attacking the police, leading to a severe eye-injury to a policeman.

“His idea was to gain political mileage, if the police opened fire at the TDP workers and killed some of them,” he alleged.

He said whatever he had complained to the Prime Minister and the President of India was nothing but a compilation of news reports published in the yellow media.

“It is ridiculous that he is demanding a CBI inquiry into the incidents, because it was Naidu who had opposed the entry of the CBI into Andhra Pradesh during his regime,” he said.

Sajjala accused Naidu and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan of raking up unnecessary issues like constructions on Rishikonda hills, instead of what they would do to the people if they come to power.

“We are going to the people telling them what we have done in the last five years and seek their votes,” he said.

But the Opposition parties have no agenda to go to the people and hence, were indulging in character assassination of the chief minister and resorting to vulgar abuses, he criticised.
