There have been allegations against AP State BJP President Purandeshwari, suggesting that she is orchestrating seat adjustments between TDP and BJP in exchange for payment.
However, nothing had been confirmed until yesterday.
Today, a leaked audio surfaced on the internet allegedly between TDP Leader Meenakshi Naidu's nephew and Kurnool BJP President Kanugiri Neelantha's brother Nagaraju.
According to the leaked audio, a proposal was made from the BJP leader's side to the TDP leader, offering to vacate the seat of Adoni in exchange for a sum of Rs 3 Cr to be paid to Purandeshwari.
The crux of the call indicates that negotiations are taking place solely under her directives.
The leaked audio implies that if Rs 3 Cr is paid to Purandeshwari, the seat would be reassigned to Aluru within the same district.
It remains to be seen how the party High Command will address this issue.
