AP To Go For Appeal On HC Order On Vidya Deevena

The AP government had decided to go for appeal against the High Court order on the fee reimbursement.

The High Court had stuck down the State government order on payment of fee reimbursement money directly into the bank accounts of the students’ parents.

The government is paying the money into the bank accounts of the mothers and had asked them to visit the college in which their children are studying and pay the fee.

However, the high court found fault with the decision and had directed the state government to pay the fee into the accounts of the colleges.

Reacting to the high court decision, Minister for Education Adimulapu Suresh told media persons that the government would go for appeal against the court order.

He said that some colleges were drawing the fee reimbursement showing fake admissions and misusing the funds.

He further felt that there is no watch on the colleges on the students’ admissions and the students’ continuation in the courses.

The government is also very particular on the colleges following reservations in admissions.

The Minister also said that the government would also go for appeal against the high court’s order on online admissions for the intermediate colleges.
