AP Is Top 3 State In Sustainable Development

Hold your breath, Andhra Pradesh stood in top 3 position in the country among all other states and Union Territories in implementation of sustainable development initiatives.

NITI Aayog had released the rankings for all States and Union Territories in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) index

The SDGs are set by the United Nations to measure the development initiatives and the NITI Aayog monitors 17 goals out of the total 169 goals.

Kerala stood top among the states and UTs with 75 score followed by Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu sharing the second place.

AP took the third place with 72 score in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The opposition TDP and its supporters and the media, which criticise the Jagan Mohan Reddy government day in and day out, will have to look seriously into the NITI Aayog report.

The TDP and its team should now change their voice, their approach in criticising the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

The AP had gone close to the targets set by the UN in the sanitation, drinking water, poverty and related issues.
