After actress and firebrand YSR Congress party MLA from Nagari R K Roja, it was the turn of another YSRC MLA and former minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy to lament on the humiliation being meted out to him in his own constituency.
On Wednesday, Anam expressed serious displeasure over the way the authorities of Nellore district were least bothered about following the basic protocol formalities towards him in his own constituency.
“I was not invited even for the Republic Day celebrations. This is height of the indifferent attitude of the officials towards public representatives. I shall move a privilege motion against the district officials for not following the protocol,” he said.
Anam further said he would approach the court against the officials and would not hesitate to file even criminal cases against them.
“I will not leave these officials at all,” he shouted.
The former minister said he had been facing a lot of humiliation after getting elected as YSRC MLA.
“I feel ashamed and anguished to claim to be a public representative for not able to take part in the official programmes,” he lamented.
The other day, Roja, too, burst into tears while explaining to the assembly privileges committee about the humiliation meted out to her in her constituency and failure of the officials in extending her the basic protocol.
