After YSRCP, JC family is fighting with BJP!

Over the last five years, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) under former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy created significant challenges for the J.C. brothers—former Anantapur MP J.C. Diwakar Reddy and former Tadipatri MLA J.C. Prabhakar Reddy—in Anantapur district.

The brothers faced political and business setbacks, with their transport business suffering severely. However, Prabhakar Reddy managed to sustain his political career by becoming the municipal chairman of Tadipatri.

Since the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)-led coalition assumed power in June this year, the J.C. family has regained some of its standing.

Prabhakar Reddy’s son, J.C. Asmith Reddy, was elected MLA from Tadipatri, and the family began reviving its business, securing contracts like the sale of fly ash from the Rayalaseema Thermal Power Plant (RTPP).

However, a new challenge has emerged, not from YSRCP leaders but from BJP MLA C. Adinarayana Reddy of Jammalamadugu.

Prabhakar Reddy alleges that Adinarayana Reddy’s nephew, Bhupesh Reddy, is disrupting their fly ash transportation business.

On Tuesday, Prabhakar Reddy wrote to the Kadapa SP, accusing the BJP MLA of orchestrating harassment.

He stated that since October 15, his company’s vehicles have been barred from loading pond ash at RTPP by Bhupesh Reddy.

“We have sent multiple letters to the Kadapa SP and the SDPO of Jammalamadugu, but no action has been taken,” Prabhakar Reddy alleged.

He accused Bhupesh Reddy of taking the law into his own hands, forcing them to halt cement and illegal sand transport vehicles coming from Kadapa on November 23 as a protest.

“Following a request from the SP, we allowed the stopped vehicles to pass that day. The Tadipatri Rural Inspector assured us that our vehicles would resume loading at RTPP starting Monday, November 25, but we waited another day,” he said.

Prabhakar Reddy asserted that their vehicles would resume loading at RTPP from Wednesday.

“If they block our vehicles again, we will not take it lightly. We will respond firmly,” he warned.
