ACB Court Okays CID To Attach Lingamaneni House

The ACB Court cleared the proposal of the AP CID on Friday to attach businessman Lingamaneni Ramesh's guest house, located on the banks of the river Krishna at Undavalli.

Former chief minister and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu has been residing in this house since 2015.

After hearing arguments from the AP CID and Ramesh, the court authorized the CID to attach the house.

The CID alleged that Naidu received the house as a gift from Lingamaneni Ramesh in exchange for exempting his lands from the inner ring road plan for Amaravati during the TDP regime.

The TDP government had proposed an inner ring road for Amaravati, which would pass through the boundaries of the lands belonging to the Lingamaneni family.

According to the CID, the Lingamaneni family gifted the guest house to Naidu as a result of the exemption of their lands from the ring road.

The State government had previously issued a notification authorizing the CID to attach the house.

Based on these orders, the CID filed a petition in the ACB court seeking permission, which the court granted after hearing from both sides.
