Tweet Review: 'Dammu', first day, first show

This is one of the most important Friday in the calendar of Tollywood. Firstly, it is the summer time and secondly, it is the arrival time of one film which has been anticipated as a promising blockbuster that can wipe out the old records and create new ones in Tollywood.

We are talking about the film ‘Dhammu’ and this has Junior NTR as the hero while Trisha and Kartheeka are the leading ladies. The film is directed by Boyapati Srinu while Alexander Vallabha is the producer. Already, the songs composed by Keeravani have got good craze among the masses.

Greatandhra brings to you the experience of watching the film live via tweet review.

Opening scene is with Boyapati Sreenu who says 'start, camera, action' in a very artificial way.

Flash back episode (before titles) is illogical but power packed.

Jr NTR's introduction scene entices fans. First fight is over.

Jr NTR says a dialogue hinting his political entry "decide ayyedi akkada (shoowing up indicating god), raatha raasedi ikkada (showing forehead), geeta geesedi ikkada (showing palm), geetha nilabette dammu undedi ikkada (showing heart)"

Trisha introduction scene is by showing her back.

First song 'o lily..crazy crazy...' is ok.

Second fight is superb, with police cop Rahul Dev

Story turning to be interesting after 35th minute.

Thottempudi Venu appears as NTR's bava.

Ruler....song is mind blowing with hair raising CG Effects and Art work. NTR is superb as warrior.

Karthika entered. Appears as naughty seductress.

Ali's double meaning dialogues...good response.

Trisha and Karthika compete with each other in 'Neelo undi dhammu...' Song.

NTR is hilarious. Ali adds fuel to it.

Story is smelling outdated and no proper captivating and convincing peaks till now in narration.

NTR's emotional dialogues with Nazar for interval bang appeal for fans.

First half is just ok. naatu comedy, too predictable. Some places heroism elevation peaks. Surprisingly only 2 fights and not much voilence.

'Raju vachchinaado...' Song is canned well.

NTR's anti congress dialogue "arachethilo factory lu choopinchi vote lu veyinchukovatledaa sir".

'Vasthu baagunde...' Song with Trisha. Kartika, Rachna Mourya and Zakaria entices masses

Simhadri type of chasing and axing scene. But not as powerful as Simhadri.

No expecting twist till now.

Intention is good but concept outdated on a whole.
