An interesting combination of Vikram with Anushka has arrived and this time it is more to do with a father’s tale than a regular tale. Let us see what this is about
Story
A gripping tale, the film begins with Krishna (Vikram) a mentally challenged adult who is walking on the roads searching for his daughter Vennela (Baby Sarah). He falls into the hands of the group of junior advocates Anuradha (Anushka), Vinod (Santhanam).
For them, it is just a case to earn money but eventually, they realize that Krishna shares a special bond with his daughter and she has been taken away forcibly by her grandfather Rajendra (Sachin) and his daughter Swetha (Amala Paul). Anuradha realizes the seriousness and files a case in the court. She is pitted against the powerful and senior most lawyer Bashyam (Nasser). Will Krishna get back Vennela? Is Anuradha good enough to win the case against Bashyam? All this forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Vikram has given a highlight performance and he conveys the anguish of a father and the innocence of a child in the right manner. Though it is not as powerful as his ‘Shivaputrudu’ it sure touches the hearts.
Anushka looks gorgeous as usual and she has unveiled the performer inside her. The strong screen presence and a natural appeal make her look more attractive.
Amala Paul is gorgeously beautiful. Her eyes will remind you of Deepika Padukone and she has carried out her role with good balance.
The real show stealer was Baby Sarah. Her cute looks and her ease in front of the camera make her really adorable and though her character is subdued she makes her presence felt.
Nasser was wily and powerful as usual, he gives a good impact. Santhanam brings few smiles. Sachin Khedekar was elegant. M S Bhaskar was okay. Y G Mahendran was brief. Surekha Vani was natural. The actor doing the role of Anushka’s junior’s lover was funny. The others did their bit as required and added value.

Analysis
Despite the fact that this is debut telugu attempt of the director, he has shown tremendous maturity in the way he handled the project.
Having a team of highly professional technicians and experienced cast, the director shaped up a rather decent project.
This may not be tagged as a mainstream flick given the genre and the content but then with powerful narration and gripping emotional sequences, the film scores at many places.
The presence of some powerful technicians is also seen in the locations, scene composition etc. While there could be doubts as to how justified it is for a mentally challenged father to fight for the custody of his daughter, the film tries to convey that bonding and emotions surpass all regulations.
At the box office, the film will appeal to the family audience especially ladies. However, given the lack of commercial elements and the subject chosen, this may not be a favourite with the masses and entertainment seeking audience.
Bottomline: For matured audience only..
