Story:
Shankaram Master (Tanikella Bharani), a school teacher in a village Kodur, takes care of a poor boy in his village and educates him. He names this motherless kid as Vishwaksen. Vishwaksen has been bright as a student. As his drunkard father also passes away he continues to live with Shankaram Master and studies till 8th standard. Then Shankaram Master also passes away. He continues his studies and happens to meet a young girl Shweta from Canada who happens to come to that village as her grand mother is sick. Instead of sitting idle she joins in the same school where Vishwaksen studies. Thus rapport develops between Vishwaksen and her. After a while, Shweta leaves the village along with her parents. But Vishwaksen becomes lovelorn and thinks only about her all the while.
Vishwaksen starts living on his own from then and uses his shrewdness and intelligence to earn a few bucks. He gets confidence as he earns money. He completes his graduation as well. He believes that he is the unique person who lives in his style and procures whatever he wants in an intelligent way. He believes that every aspect in life has a calculation. He always tries to tantamount the life with money.
Years pass on and in the process Vishwaksen (Raja) happens to join in an office as Assistant Manager where the CMD’s (Suman) daughter is found to be Shweta (Genelia). Vishwaksen wants to make Shweta express her love on him using his shrewdness. After a long process, Shweta says that she loves Siddartha (Sonu Sood) and wants to marry him. Who is Siddartha? How Vishwaksen tackles with this?-All that has to be watched on screen. Instead of making it a normal triangle love theme, Neelakanta has taken that on to the platform of psychology and human relations. There lies the uniqueness in this film.
Performance:
Raja is the right choice for the character of Vishwaksen. He has shown different histrionics as required for the narration. He is good at cunning scenes, nice at romantic episodes, pleasant in bearing and proved to be a right actor for the role. He also acted well as a disgusting lover in second half as well.
Genelia is in her girly way through out the film and in the conclusion she holds a responsible role. The costumes used for Genelia are perfectly in sink with the requirement.
Sonu Sood looked charming and slim. He is generally known for playing villain roles. But Neelakanta picked him up for an important role in the film which goes in gentle manner.
Comedian Brahmanandam appears as a follower of Gandhism in wrong way. His episode might have increased. MS Narayana and Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam have taken bigger cake of depicting comedy on screen.
Suman is pleasing as the father of Genelia in a respectful role. Other actors have acted by standing in the shoes of their roles.
Technical departments have worked well. The solo-narration part of Raja in the beginning of the movie was made in very interesting manner with insert shots and using other technical aspects without bringing boredom for audiences. Neelakanta has once again showed his trademark by making a film after a thorough study. This time he has taken a management subject which deals with Organization Communication and Organization Behavior to be specific. Well, this film can be added in the curriculum of management studies as the subject is discussed in entertaining way.
Analysis:
The movie is well made on the entertaining platform. First half goes very hilarious and interesting with a right mix of humor. Second half becomes a bit serious but picks up within a few minutes and the movie concludes with a twist.
Neelakanta, the screenplay magician has chosen an entertaining platform this time and hence the movie pleased all segments of audiences. It’s a nice theme that appeals for all human beings. Although the story is carried in office background, the factor of human relations elucidated in this is meant for every human being and every family. So, it’s worth watch for understanding the secret of human relationship building.
Music is scored well by Chakry and he is has given haunting tunes for it. ‘Ningi Nela..’ and ‘Kallu Kallutho…’ are mellifluous and interesting. And the song ‘Neeti Chinuku Mabbullona..’ received leg tapping from audiences.
The movie appeals for youth and female audiences, and good for general class audiences. On a whole the movie deserves a wide appreciation for showing something important for life in an interesting way.
