There was breaking news recently that the Ramanaidu Studio lands in Visakhapatnam are going to be taken back by the government of Andhra Pradesh allocating an alternate land for the purpose.
It is known that during the reign of Chandrababu long ago, a land between Visakhapatnam and Bheemili beach was allocated for Ramanaidu Studio. But the studio was not built for quite a long time.
After a while YSR came to power. His government started giving some vacant hills for the IT companies in this area. Noticing the vacant land, YSR thought of taking it back and giving it to some IT companies. But Suresh Babu approached YSR and made his requests.
Then YSR advised him to build the studio (as it was given only for that purpose) and generate employment in the place in order to avoid government's action. Sources say that Suresh Babu attempted to build something in the place for name sake immediately.
So far no films were shot in this pace in big numbers on par with that of the Hyderabad studio. Now, considering that the land is not being used in the way it is expected to be, the YSRCP government is planning to take back the land as per the inside sources.
"Had YSR taken back the studio in his reign there wouldn't have been this problem now. As he missed doing that, the mud slinging is going on with the YSRCP government at present. It is common to take back the government land and allocate the alternate land. Similar events happened in the Amaravathi land issue also. When no problem was seen there, why did this incident become political?", says an inside source.
There wouldn't be much clarity on this one-sided information until Suresh Babu shares his views on this.
