It is almost on an everyday basis that we see Janhvi Kapoor sporting a bright smile for the paparazzi outside her gym. But do we know about the struggles she goes through inside the gym? Probably not!
The actress’ last couple of months at the fitness center have been anything but easy.
According to a recent report by a Mumbai tabloid, Janhvi, who has been juggling between the shoots of Kargil Girl and RoohiAfza, is underdoing significant weight changes for the two films.
While the actress gained six kilos for the Gunjan Saxena biopic as the film demands her to look “slightly plump,” she had to shed almost 10 kilos for the Rajkummar Rao-starrer horror comedy. And guess what! Before beginning the Georgia schedule of Kargil Girl, the 22-year-old will have to gain muscle again.
“She is working out six days a week, for two to three hours daily. For the first two days, she does EMS [Electrical Muscle Stimulation] and the remaining four days are dedicated to pilates. She has a back injury because of which her training has to be monitored,” Janhvi’s trainer Namrata Purohit has been quoted in the report as saying.
“Janhvi has a sweet tooth. So, my mother makes these healthy laddoos with jaggery and nuts. Ideally, she is allowed one a day, but she gulps down three of them,” she added.
