'Yevam' is a crime thriller directed by Prakash Dantuluri. The film stars Chandini Chowdary as a rookie SI who is faced with the biggest challenge of her career when she must chase a crime mystery. Although the premise sounds familiar, the treatment appears to be the big difference.
Also starring Vasishta Simha, Bharat Raj, and Aashu Reddy, the film's trailer is out.
The trailer highlights the central mystery driving the plot without giving away too much. Chandini's character looks vulnerable, worthy of the audience's love, in the initial portions. The 'Colour Photo' actress' character is compelling. While she appears fun-loving like a typical young woman of her age, she also takes to her job with professional commitment.
While the drama portions evoke warmth, the atmospheric setting enhances the inherent tension. All in all, the trailer succeeds in conveying the director's intent.
Producers Navdeep and Pavan Goparaju are working with Keertana Sesh and Neelesh Mandalapu. Divya Narayan and Prakash Dantuluri are the dialogue writers.
CSpace and Prakash Dantuluri Productions have announced the release date to be June 14.
