Allari Naresh and Vijay Kanakamedala’s second film together Ugram made under Shine Screens is due for release on 4th of this month.
The film’s pre-release event was held today in a grand way with several heroes and directors gracing it as special guests.
Anil Ravipudi says Naresh surprises with his intense performance in films like Nenu, Gamyam, Naandhi and Ugram. “I wish he will do serious as well as comedy roles.”
Harish Shankar expressed his happiness for his protégé Vijay Kanakamedala delivering good movies.
“Naresh will be the first hero in this generation to do 100 movies. I don’t like calling him a comedy actor. He is an actor who can do comedy. Ugram will haunt you, even after coming out of theatres.”
Vishwak Sen, Sundeep Kishan, Adivi Sesh, and Nikhil who graced the occasion heaped praises on the trailer and wished the team all the success.
Director Vijay Kanakamedala stated that they shot the movie in 73 days, out of which 53 are nights.
“Although the budget increased, my producers supported me totally. Allari Naresh believed me completely. He did lot of hard work on action sequences. There is a rain effect action block that we shot in 8 degrees temperatures. I troubled him a lot for the scene. He shot it barefoot. Mirnaa justified the character. You will be thrilled after seeing the kid Ooha’s performance.”
Naresh thanked the heroes who graced the occasion and also for doing reels to promote the movie.
“Ugram is my 60th movie. From Allari to now, I thank all my directors. We didn’t have many expectations for Naandhi. We both wanted to prove ourselves. Coming to Ugram, the expectations have increased. We tried hard to reach the expectations. I wish the same team continues to work with Vijay. Naresh Vijay 3 may happen after we complete our other commitments. Sahu and Harish never discuss the budget. We all worked for 16 to 18 hours a day. I never did fights with emotion earlier. I made you laugh, and emotional. You will see intensity for the first time. Mirnaa will have a bright future.”
