Released on October 5, Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer “Godfather” completed a week’s run.
The first week gave mixed results to the producers. While the film posted decent numbers until the Dasara holidays, the collections saw a huge drop on the first Monday and the scene remained the same on Tuesday.
It will be tough for the film to run for the second weekend. It may see some traction during weekends, but the collections on weekdays are abysmally low.
Trade analysts say “Godfather” cannot be considered a hit if the collections remain the same in the second week. The film gave only relief to Chiranjeevi.
Luckily, “Godfather” was not sold for high prices. So, no distributor will lose heavy money.
