Bollywood is making a movie with the title Baiju Bawra in the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Ranveer is playing the lead role in which Deepika Padukone was approached to play the female lead.
But Deepika demanded equal remuneration on par with that of her husband which made the makers turn off.
In a way there is nothing wrong in expecting equal pay as Deepika herself is a crowd pulling star and has every ability to scale up the image of the film with her stardom.
On the other hand there is nothing wrong on the producers' side in expecting some discount as a family package as the leads are a couple in real life.
But Deepika wanted an exclusive treatment when it comes to remuneration.
