While many stars live in upscale areas like Jubilee Hills, Kokapet or Nanakramguda in West Hyderabad, they still face issues like traffic, crowds, and lack of privacy.
For the truly elite, Dubai offers a better lifestyle — superior infrastructure, cleaner surroundings, less crowding, elite education facilities for children and overall peace of mind.
The value of real estate is another big factor. For the same investment they make in Hyderabad, celebrities can often afford grander mansions in prime areas of Dubai. The city’s organized environment and efficient systems are a major draw.
Moreover, Dubai has a large expat community, including Europeans, Filipinos, and workers from other countries. As a result, Tollywood stars can move around more freely without attracting constant public attention.
Although there is a strong Indian and Telugu presence in Dubai, the chances of being mobbed in high-end public spaces are low.
Most importantly, there's no paparazzi culture in Dubai. For Indian film celebrities, this is a huge relief.
If media outlets cross boundaries and disturb a celebrity’s privacy, Dubai authorities take strict legal action. This level of enforcement gives them more peace than what they experience in Mumbai or Hyderabad.
Allu Arjun is rumored to be considering settling in Dubai in the near future. He has reportedly spoken about it with close friends. He is gearing up to start a major project with director Atlee, which will primarily be based in Mumbai.
Given the growing buzz around his interest in Dubai, it wouldn’t be surprising if he decides to make the move there after wrapping up this film — or perhaps after completing one or two more projects.
