Shooting for megastar Chiranjeevi’s starrer “Acharya” being directed by Koratala Shiva is going at a brisk pace and the producers are keen that the film is released this year itself at any cost.
There is a key role which lasts about 20 minutes in the film. Initially, it was proposed to rope in Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan for this role, but going by the clause in the agreement signed for Rajamoul’s film “RRR,” there is no way Ram Charan could act in his father’s film and even if he does, it should not be released till next summer.
As a result, Koratala Siva is trying to bring in Mahesh Babu to do the cameo role in Acharya.
There is no need to explain about the friendship between Mahesh and Koratala, but the superstar is said to be in a dilemma as he had never done guest roles in any film. So, the film makers have not yet come out officially in this regard.
But the mega fans are said to be upset over the news that Mahesh might do this breezy role in Chiranjeevi’s film. They are wondering why the film makers have not tried Pawan Kalyan, if Ram Charan is not in a position to do the role.
Definitely, Pawan Kalyan would not have said no had Chiranjeevi asked him to play the cameo role. So, it is surprising why Koratala or Chiranjeevi did not explore the option.
In fact, the mega fans have been longing to see Chiranjeevi and Pawan together in a multi-starrer film.
The last time when both of them were seen together in a film, albeit for a few minutes, was in “Shankar Dada Zindabad” way back in 2007.
If Pawan been contacted for the latest film of Chiranjeevi, it would have appeased the mega fans to a great extent. They are still hopeful that if Mahesh doesn’t agree to do the guest role, the film makers might contact Pawan.
The power star, who had kept himself away from the film industry for two years for the sake of politics, is now briskly doing films with renewed enthusiasm. He is shooting for two films simultaneously.
Pawan might not give up a chance to act with his big brother, if gets such an opportunity.
