Pawan Kalyan recently made a few tweets praising MGR, along with pictures of MGR and Jayalalitha.
He also tweeted that his father was a devotee of Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Sarada Matha, and Swamy Vivekananda.
Many are drawing different conclusions based on these tweets.
One netizen mentioned- "This is an attempt to woo AIADMK supporters to counter DMK. The DMK is against Sanatana Dharma. It’s also an attempt to attract Sanatanis in Tamil Nadu with the tweet about his father's devotion to Ramakrishna Paramahansa."
Another netizen wrote, "This is an attempt to appease Tamil film fans, who are upset with Pawan Kalyan for demeaning their hero, Karthi, during the recent pre-release event of Satyam Sundaram in Hyderabad, where he dragged Karthi into the Tirumala laddu controversy."
It should be noted that Pawan Kalyan also praised SJ Suryah in one of his tweets and Lokesh Kanagaraj in another.
“There might be pressure from Chiranjeevi or Shankar on him to calm down Tamil film lovers, as they have enough influence to harm Ram Charan’s upcoming film Gamechanger. So, Pawan Kalyan is likely trying to placate them,” wrote another netizen.
Whatever the reason, the sudden, abrupt, and out-of-the-blue tweets supporting Tamil Nadu, Tamilians, and MGR by Pawan Kalyan seem peculiar.
Some are even making jokes, recalling how Pawan once said his father was an atheist who used to light a cigarette from the diya in front of a God's idol; and now, he’s claiming his father was a devotee of Ramakrishna Paramahansa.
People are questioning how they can trust his seemingly contradictory personality.
