It is unfair that Telugu films are charged for digital prints when hollywood films don't pay.
Reason being it is not actually the charges for the film, but the projector hire charges that are being collected unfairly only from regional films.
Earlier when digitisation of projection happened, it was agreed that some amount would be collected on every print for a period of 10 years to cover the conversion costs.
But not only have the charges been continuously increased and collected by the digital providers from producers.
All producers and single screens are facing difficult times and many are closing down. But still, these so called corporations in the name of business continue to steal from regional producers.
Small producers are now demanding that this wrong be corrected for a fresh start.
