Soon after the release of “Vakeel Saab”, news reports had mentioned that the film would stream on OTT platforms in two or three weeks.
The team had feared these reports would affect the collections in theaters and immediately released a press statement slamming those news reports.
Furthermore, producer Dil Raju and director Sriram Venu had released video bytes claiming the reports as fake and requested people not to believe them.
They went on bombarding that the film would not stream anytime soon. Understandably, producers had to do such things when crores of money are at stake. Such publicity is not wrong either.
However, the team of “Vakeel Sab” claimed that the reports as FAKE and admonished the media at that time. That was wrong.
Now, the film is all set to stream on Amazon Prime on April 30, within three weeks of the theatrical release. So, who was faking – the media or the makers?
It is the media’s writings that proved to be right now.
