Ram Gopal Varma generally speaks openly in his interviews, rarely concealing the names of individuals he discusses.
However, in a recent interview with Bharadwaj Rangan, he shared a story about a hero without revealing his name.
RGV recounted from past, that a corporate company in Mumbai made a movie with a Telugu star hero, but the film ended up as a flop.
Due to fan pressure and for a track record, the star hero asked the production company to run the film for a few more weeks.
The company agreed, provided the hero bore the costs, to which the hero agreed. Thus, the hero invested some money to keep the film running with empty shows and sparse audiences for a few days.
Unaware of this arrangement, the distributor stopped advertising the film in newspapers, knowing it was a flop and not worth further investment in advertisements.
This incident shared by RGV left many viewers speculating about the hero’s identity, as he didn't mention the name, and the interviewer didn't press for it.
On social media, some suggest it might be Mahesh Babu, while others think it's Prabhas or Balakrishna.
It would have been better if RGV had named the hero, avoiding unnecessary speculation and spotlight on multiple actors.
