Which Telugu Hero Will be Next To Prabhas?

Which Telugu Hero Will be Next To Prabhas?

First is NTR, who is set to release Devara this month. It's been two and a half years since RRR was released, but NTR was not the solo hero of that project.

His last solo film was Aravinda Sametha in 2018, meaning it's been six years since NTR delivered a solo performance.

The box office success of Devara remains to be seen. There are concerns about director Koratala Siva, as his last film, Acharya, was a flop.

Next is Allu Arjun with Pushpa 2. The first Pushpa was a commercial underperformance in Telugu due to insufficient ROI, though the Hindi version performed exceptionally well, covering the budget and turning it into a big hit.

That success will likely boost Pushpa 2, and the songs released so far are already chart-toppers.

Lastly, Ram Charan is coming with Game Changer, which has the least expectations this year. Director Shankar’s last film, Indian 2, was a massive disaster.

Ram Charan’s previous film Acharya was also a failure, and before that, he was part of RRR, which wasn’t a solo performance.

His last solo film was Vinaya Vidheya Rama in 2019, which also flopped, marking a five-year gap since his last solo lead role.

While none of these stars are expected to surpass Prabhas in terms of box office dominance with these films, the real competition is for the second spot. Allu Arjun currently has the edge, but with these upcoming releases, anything could happen.

Additionally, none of these stars have major films lined up in the near future, meaning it could be over a year before we see them on the big screen again.
