It was not Sashi Kiran Tikka, but Vinay Kumar who was the editor for Major will be directing Adivi Sesh’s spy thriller G2, a sequel to Goodhachari.
Actually, it’s Sashi Kiran who suggested Vinay’s name for G2. The film’s press meet, on the occasion of the first look and pre-vision launch, has been held.
Producers stated that the expectations are huge for G2 and the second franchise will be made on a massive budget. “G2 is going to be a visual wonder,” said they.
Sashi Kiran Tikka said, “Sesh narrated the idea for G2, while we were doing Major. Me and Sesh felt that Vinay is a perfect choice. He’s an integral part of our team. I think he’s the perfect choice for this series to take forward.
I strongly believe that he thinks contemporarily, so we’ve chosen him. When the movie comes out, you’ll all be very happy for what decision we’ve taken today.”
Vinay Kumar said, “I hope you all liked the pre-vision. One thing we can promise you is that the movie will be much more grandeur than the pre-vision. Goodhachari is a unique world with so much potentiality.”
Adivi Sesh said, “While we were doing Goodhachari and Major, Vinay is the one who used to clear our doubts. G2 is going to be the next level of what a spy action film can be. I can proudly say that the spy film trend started with Goodhachari.
We will be taking the franchise worldwide with G2. I will be working on the script for next few months, and then I will concentrate on building six-pack abs.
The reason for the pre-vision is to show the audience a small taste of what kind of visual extravaganza G2 is going to be. This movie is going to be shot in 5 different countries. In 2024, G2 will rock the box office.”
