The YSR Congress party leaders are on Cloud Nine, following the announcement made by megastar Chiranjeevi that he would be settled down in Visakhapatnam by constructing a house there.
The megastar, while speaking at the pre-release event of his upcoming film Waltair Veeraiah, made a lot of positive comments about Visakhapatnam, its people and also the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.
He said people of Visakhapatnam are peace-loving people and he had a lot of affinity to the port city. He declared that he had recently purchased a piece of land at Bhimili road, where he would soon be constructing a house to settle down.
Chiranjeevi was also all praise for the chief minister’s office for making certain suggestions with regard to hosting of the pre-release event of his film at Andhra University grounds.
“Had it been on the beach road as planned originally, there would not have been so much crowd,” he said.
The YSRC leaders feel that Chiranjeevi’s statement is a sort of endorsement to chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s decision.
YSRC general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy was the first person to welcome the megastar’s decision.
“I heartily welcome megastar @KChiruTweets garu’s decision to settle down in the executive capital of AP, Visakhapatnam. I sincerely wish his upcoming movie #waltairveeraiah a grand success,” Sai Reddy tweeted.
It may be mentioned that during his last meeting with Chiranjeevi, the chief minister suggested to him to take the initiative in expanding the Telugu film industry in Andhra Pradesh with Visakhapatnam as the centre. He also assured to extend all possible assistance to the film industry from the government.
Now that Chiranjeevi himself has declared that he would settle down in Viskhapatnam, it would be a big boost to the ruling YSRCP and it can expect the support from the mega fans!
