After audio launch, the makers of Konda Polam have celebrated pre-release event today in Hyderabad.
Rakul Preet Singh who couldn’t attend audio launch was there for the pre-release.
Harish Shankar who attended the event as a guest lauded Krish for giving the credit to writer Sannapureddy by including his name in posters.
“Krish has great enthusiasm for Telugu literature. While other directors talk about foreign language movies, Krish talks about books. Sai Dharam Tej is lucky to have a brother who shares all the responsibilities. I’m always ready to and delighted to work with Vaishnav.”
Vaishnav’s first film Uppena’s director Buchi Babu also graced the occasion.
“Krish, after the release of Uppena, appreciated me saying I made a wonderful film. He will teach new lesson with every new film. Vaishnav you will always remain to be very special as my first hero.”
Krish said, “I need to thank Pawan Kalyan. When I told him to make this film, he said it’s necessary for you and the industry. I also have to thank AM Rathnam. We need to give prime priority to writers. We need to give them the respect, they deserve. It’s not a picnic, it’s an adventurous journey.
There was full of excitement while reading the book. There was no female character. A shepherd who goes to forest comes back as a forest officer. Though I penned screenplay, every dialogue was written by Sannapureddy. Buchi Babu, you gave a star to industry. I saw Vaishnav at a party. I hugged him and kissed him on his shoulder. He has great personality.
Rakul is very disciplined. She spoke Rayalaseema accept perfectly. I thank Keeravani for being guide for us and pillar of support.”
Rakul Preet Singh said, “Every actor needs a special character, that they are extremely proud of and that is out of their comfort zone. Obulamma is one such character. I’m so happy that Krish felt that I can pull off this role. It’s a soulful character. I really think Vaishnav will become a big star one day, you already are in one way. He’s very few people have the ability or desire to want to learn and Vaishnav is one of those. He has got powerful eyes; he’s grounded and very sweet guy.”
Vaishnav Tej said, “There is a line- Adivi oka Pedda Balashiksha. While my first chapter was Uppena, my second chapter is Konda Polam. I learnt a lot, while working with Krish. Krish, Rajeev and Babu’s friendship is just beautiful. Krish is quick and efficient. He’s always there like a brother. We went to forest to shoot. Technicians have worked really hard. This character- Kataru Ravindra is one among us. We face many fears. His journey is an inspiring story. We need to have that quest to achieve our goals.”
