Allu Sirish's latest film, "Buddy," starring Gayathri Bharadwaj and Prisha Rajesh Singh as the leading ladies, is set for a grand release on August 2.
Produced by KE Gnanavel Raja and Adhana Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green Films banner, with Sam Anton as the director and Neha Gnanavel Raja as co-producer, the movie is described as an adventurous action entertainer.
In a recent media interaction, Allu Sirish highlighted that "Buddy" has a crisp runtime of 2 hours and 8 minutes, which he believes is ideal for its concept-oriented nature. He emphasized that a longer duration would not suit the film.
Sirish praised the well-scripted conflict between the heroine and the villain, as well as the hero's characterization and story development.
He expressed his enthusiasm for the film's unique elements and mentioned his debut as a pilot in an intense role.
Sirish also noted that Telugu audiences prefer watching movies in theaters, which is why "Buddy" is being made available at affordable prices.
He contrasted this with the situation in the North, where theater attendance is lower despite the large population.
Observing that his friends tended to go to the cinema only in the second week, he stressed the film's accessibility to ensure that everyone can enjoy it in theaters.
