Watch: Unfiltered Talk With Naga Vamshi

Producer Naga Vamshi gave an exclusive interview to GreatAndhra.com, and in his conversation with journalist Murthy, he shared many insights on filmmaking and the business side of the industry.

In the interview, Naga Vamshi demonstrated clarity and appeared unfiltered in his articulation.

He didn’t hold back when discussing certain topics, such as ticket price hikes for films starring big-name actors.

When asked if raising ticket prices was exploiting the audience, Naga Vamshi responded, "Cinema is still the cheapest form of entertainment. If we price tickets at Rs 250 each, and a family of four wants to watch the movie, it costs them Rs 1,000. Including Rs 500 for interval refreshments, they may spend around Rs 1,500. Tell me, where else can they find such entertainment for two and a half to three hours at that price?"

In fact, no producer has spoken so openly about this issue. While it's debatable and not all middle-class people may agree with his opinion, Naga Vamshi expressed himself candidly without mincing words.

Additionally, when asked about the rumored clash between him and NTR Arts' Hari, he remained straightforward and spoke openly, without filtering his thoughts.

Naga Vamshi also commented on reviews, social media critics, and influencers who harshly criticize films on their release day.

He mentioned that some people seem to be happy and sleep well only when they imagine that he has lost a lot of money with 'Devara.'

This interview can be described as an unfiltered conversation with a producer who has his own set of ideas and ideals, which are not easily swayed by counterarguments or opinionated questions.
